Opening the Anchorage International Film Festival's ten days of films and fun, we're bringing to Anchorage the premiere of the long-awaited, "Sugar Mountain"!

Join us at the BearTooth TheatrePub for Opening Night to welcome director and cast back to Alaska and celebrate movie-making in the 49th State! 

SUGAR MOUNTAIN (2016)
Filmed in Seward and around the Kenai Peninsula, this drama tells the story of two brothers, down on their luck, who fake a disappearance in the Alaskan wilderness so they'll have a great survival story to sell, but the hoax turns out to be more real than they planned.

Directed by Richard Gray
Starring: Cary Elwes, Jason Momoa, Drew Roy, Haley Webb, Shane Coffey
Music written and performed by Alaskan band, Blackwater Railroad Company.

Doors open at 6, program to begin at 7. $25 entry, tickets available in Late-November. Opening Night Ticket included with Festival Pass (must be picked up at BearTooth Box Office)

Film will begin at 7:30, with Q & A from visiting Director and Cast afterward, followed by a good ol' party with DJ's swingin', champagne pouring and custom-made desserts to delight your palate!
